Plagiarism Website

Check out a website I made about plagiarism by using plagiarized XHTML, CSS and Javascript!
http://www.tc.umn.edu/~joh03146/

Tips for viewing:--Works best on a 2008 (or newer) Mac using Firefox.
-Sorry, but if you have an old computer it might crash--or just not work very well.
-Change Preferences to allow pop-ups if needed.
--Move the curser around and around to see different, bright flashing colors!
--Don’t be fooled by the "File Not Found" that comes up when you first get to the site...it's fake.
--Click on the “Click me and wait!” buttons for bizarre instructions.
-Each of the four “Click me and wait!” buttons within the same quadrant contains a different message.
-The time in seconds that you have to wait for the pop-up message varies with each button.
--Click on pages and press the spacebar to auto-scroll.
-This includes the four pages that comprise the homepage.
-This also includes the four pages that come up when you click on most links.
-Each page can scroll or auto-scroll independently of each other.
--Scroll or auto-scroll down to see rollovers--and the message that the roll-overs create. If you’re auto-scrolling, go back and forth between hovering and not hovering for fun.
-You can have all four quadrants auto-scrolling at once if you’d like.
--Click the link “Link that goes nowhere (Click here if you’re bored.)” to start at the beginning again.
--Check out the source code for secret messages! (about the plagiarizer’s process of plagiarism!)
--Don’t email me via the website because I don’t check my hotmail account very often.

--On the “Ice Ice Baby” link:
-Click “Click me and wait for an instruction!” or “Vanilla Ice Hell Yes!” to get the pop-up message”: “Now, press SPACEBAR in each quadrant if you wish!”
-You can stop and start YouTube videos manually.
-Some of the YouTube videos will play automatically; others you have to press play. (For example, if you want Justin Timberlake’s version of ‘Ice Ice Baby’ to play.) Some pages have a lot of videos and I like the idea of them playing all together conceptually, but I like the sound of a select few playing—say 4 instead of 10 videos at a time.

Coming soon:
I have over one hundred sentences I highlighted in two critical essays I read on plagiarism that I'm going to make into roll-overs linked to invisible jpgs I've made in different sizes! The essays are “The Ecstasy of Influence,” by Jonathan Lethem, and “Dispersion,” by Seth Price. So, someone would have to accidentally come across the message since it'd be invisible and the user would have to hover over, say, 16 pixels. If/when I finish this, I'll tell you were to find the random sentences though.Plagiarism Website Still Dimensions Variable, 2008

Artist's Statement
Screenshot of a website about plagiarism in music using solely plagiarized code. Four web pages with YouTube videos feed into one screen. Four music videos auto-start to play Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby” at the same time Queen’s “Under Pressure” plays at the same time a comedian impersonates “Ice Ice Baby” at the same time an older Vanilla Ice tries to make a come-back performing his 20-year-old hit live. (more in-depth statement coming soon!)
